On 27th October 2018, after years of planning, paddles finally hit the water.

What was to come was an adventure of epic proportions involving everything from a full on hippo attack, being arrested and detained in Burundi, running crazy rapids, paddling through a country on the brink of civil war and so much more!

The Expedition

At 6,853km in length, with endless challenges on route, this was set to test Sarah on every level. It started in Rwanda and finished in Egypt
